Yanhao Wang

Biography

Yanhao Wang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Marketing, Business Economics, and Law at Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. He earned his Ph.D. from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Before that, he graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Economics. His fields of interest include healthcare, industrial organization, and finance. Yanhao specializes in utilizing novel data to empirically answer policy-relevant questions, focusing on the supply side of healthcare. In his current research, Yanhao studies the behavior of healthcare providers (including physicians, hospitals, nursing homes) as well as its implications for patient health and medical expenditure.
