Josephine Jacobs

Biography

 

Josephine Jacobs is a Health Economist at the Health Economics Resource Center at the Palo Alto Veterans Health Administration.  Her main research interests revolve around labor and caregiving issues related to population ageing and the contribution of economic behavior to demographic trends.  She has worked on projects dealing with the effects of workplace interventions on health and labor market outcomes as well as projects evaluating the effects of reproductive health policies.  She was formerly at the Ivy Business School at the University of Western Ontario and the Center for Economic Demography at Lund University in Sweden. Josephine has a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Economic Demography from Lund University.
