Abstract: This presentation will build off of Introduction to STATA 1 by reviewing some of the basic commands covered in the first session, with a focus on their application, and will introduce some functions/commands not previously covered. This presentation will also cover the basics of working with hierarchical (i.e., clustered/longitudinal/multilevel) data (e.gs., merging, wide/long data, converting from wide -> long, summarizing records for an ID, searching records within an ID).
